Our story

Garden Chapel Funeral Home is Pella's only not-for-profit burial association. We are committed to providing compassionate, professional service. Twice, Garden Chapel has received the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) "Pursuit of Excellence Eagle" award. And it has received the Iowa Funeral Directors Award of Excellence for nine consecutive years. It has also been recognized by the NFDA for participating in the "For a Life Worth Celebrating" program.

Founded in 1929, Garden Chapel is cooperatively owned and governed by a local board of directors. As a not-for-profit funeral home, Garden Chapel invests its funds right back into better quality service.
