Roger A. Carbaugh, son of Harley and Dorothy Borders Carbaugh, was born on November 22, 1949, near Forest City, Iowa.  He was a US Army veteran.  For many years he operated a barbershop in Pella.  He also worked at the Christian Opportunity Center as a Living Skills Advisor.  He was an active member of the Pella United Methodist Church where he played the organ.

Roger is survived by one sister: Dorothy Carbaugh of Story City.  He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Carol Carbaugh and Linda Frantz.
