In Memory Of DIED FUNERAL SERVICES VISITATION Fay Arlene Meldrem Moore, 72, went Home on February 24, 2008 surrounded by her children at the Comfort House in Pella, Iowa. Fay was born December 7, 1935 in Brooklyn, Iowa to Elton and Ruby Smith Meldrem. She attended school in Brooklyn and Newton. She was married in 1952 to D.E. Repp. From this union came three daughters: Doris, Carolyn, and Elsie. In 1955 she married O.L. Moore. From this union came a daughter and a son: Evelyn and Orville. In 1966 she married Elbert Moore. Along with Elbert came a daughter and a son: Nancy and Dennis. Over the years, Fay worked as a seamstress, a bartender, in a plastics factory, and various other part time jobs. She enjoyed her role as a mother and homemaker. She liked baking, gardening, crocheting, bowling, and dancing. In later years her main enjoyment was her children and grandchildren. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Helen, two daughters, one son, one grandson, one great-grandson, one great-great-grandson, and her companion of 7 1/2 years, Rey Overturf. She will be missed by her surviving brother Richard and sister Iola, her children and grandchildren, as well as many friends, including her best friend Sandy.
