Madahlynn Kae Polo, daughter of David and Tonya (Kleinendorst) Polo, was born on November 17, 2009, at the Pella Regional Health Center. She passed away on October 16, 2010, at the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 11 months.
Madahlynn was a busy girl who loved to growl and spit, eat food, scream, receive kisses, and dancing to any music. She was standing on her own, and was nearly ready to walk.
Surviving Madahlynn are her parents, David and Tonya Polo of Pella, Iowa; her brothers, Michael, Dakota, Colton, and David; maternal grandparents, David and Kae De Vries of Reasnor, and Perry Kleinendorst of Las Vegas, Nevada; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Joan Cain of Chariton, and Jim and Joyce Polo of Chariton; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Viola De Vries of Pella, Patricia Farver of Monroe, Mary Farver of Pella, Bob and Dorothy Kleinendorst of Newton, and Hazel Kleinendorst of Las Vegas; paternal great-grandmother, Corrine Cain of Williamson; her maternal aunts and uncles, Travis and Randi Kleinendorst of Des Moines, Lance and Amanda De Vries and their son Hunter of Pella, Justin De Vries of Reasnor, and Joseph Kleinendorst of Las Vegas; her paternal aunts and unlces, Wrandy and Lauri Polo of Chariton, Cindy Polo and Tim Banasik of Cherokee, and Kelly Braaksma of Chariton; her godparents, Emily Vos and Chong Yang; and many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Madahlynn was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Bob Farver, and her paternal great-grandparents, Arthur Cain, Rev. Victor and Marie Parson, and John and Madeline Polo.
