Arvin Lee Klein was born April 16, 1948, to Arie Gysbert and Nellie Marie (Schuring) Klein, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  He passed away on March 30, 2019, at his tiny home in Harvey, Iowa.

Arvin lived in the Pella area his entire life and attended Webster Elementary School.  He served in the U.S. Army in Germany as a MP.  On August 22, 1970, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Irene Barron.  To this union they were blessed with three children: Allan, Michelle, and Ginger.

Arvin worked for Pella Corp. for five years, before starting his own business, Klein’s Auto Trim, which he owned for 25 years. Arvin was an antique collector for 45 years and had his television debut on American Pickers. He enjoyed being outdoors and was often found looking for and collecting Indian artifacts.
