Brenda Reineke Obituary

Brenda Renee Reineke was born on October 10, 1973, to Larry and Siegrid (Pusch) Vander Linden in Springfield, Illinois.

Brenda was a 1991 graduate of Greenview High School in Illinois and also a graduate of Lincoln Land Community College.

On October 1, 2005, she was united in marriage to Seth Thomas Reineke at her parents’ farm in Tracy, Iowa. To this union they were blessed with two children: Kyle Andrew and Emily Grace.

Brenda was a homemaker and a church secretary for Ebenezer Reformed Church in Leighton, she also worked at the Town Crier for many years. She was a member of Federated Fellowship Church in Pella.

Brenda had a smile that was brighter than sunshine and had a great attitude. She put others before herself in life and even in her death. She had a deep love for everyone especially her children. She loved well and was well-loved. Brenda enjoyed shopping trips and treat-making days with her mom and sisters. She attended the annual craft show in Ankeny and made awesome home-made gifts. Her generosity was much appreciated. She wore her heart on her sleeve, you always knew where she stood on things. Brenda was an awesome cook and often hosted Thanksgiving. She also enjoyed camping trips, car shows, swimming and roller skating with her family. She enjoyed trips to Germany with her mother. They had so much fun together and spent time with her grandparents there. Brenda will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Seth, their two children Kyle and Emily, her parents Larry and Siegrid Vander Linden of Tracy, her sisters:  Debbie and Brad Stawick of Bartlett, Tennessee, Karrie and Charlie Darnell of Ankeny, and Amy and Allen Jingst of Grimes, her parents-in-law Fred and Donna Reineke of Sigourney, her brothers-in-law: Ben and Michelle Reineke of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Steven and Brittany Reineke of Anna, Texas, and Randy and Heather Reineke of Pella, and many nieces, nephews and other family.
