Donna Modlin

Donna Darlene Modlin was the oldest child born to Bonnie (Verwers) and Hoy Modlin in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on August 14, 1959.

Donna grew up in the Pella area and was a 1977 graduate of Twin Cedars High School. After high school she enlisted in the Army, where she served for four years. She went on to work at Wellmark in Des Moines for 20 years and most recently worked for Walmart in Pella.

In her spare time, Donna enjoyed reading and crocheting baby blankets. She loved spending time with family especially her nieces and nephews and was always loving on kids.

Donna is survived by her mother Bonnie and her stepfather Bill Harkins of Runnells, her siblings: Steve and Lisa Modlin of Knoxville, Deb Nash of New Sharon, and her beloved dog Teddy. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her father Hoy Modlin, her sister Denise Ridley and her cousin Darrin Embray.
