Story about us when I took Donna out for dinner:
It was a Saturday night in the summer. Donna came home from work and asked if we could go out and I said okay. Let me go in and change my clothes and clean up. She came back out, and I was still cleaning the yard. She came out with clean clothes on, and came over to me and said she was ready. She hollered for the kids to get them ready. I told her they could go like they were. Well you need to get cleaned up and change your clothes. She said, where are we going, McDonalds or the A&W root-beer stand? I said neither one. I grabbed her arm and took her around behind the garage where I had the grill going. I said here, I’m taking you out for supper - hotdogs and chips. I never said let’s go to McDonalds or A&W to eat, I said I was taking you out for supper. . . she about killed me.
