Anna Mae Steenhoek, 96, passed away October 18, 2017, at Comfort House, Pella, Iowa.  Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., October 26, at Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Pella, Iowa.  Private family interment services will be held prior to the memorial service.

Anna Mae is survived by her children:  Linda (Dick) Bruxvoort of Montezuma; Ron (Jan) Steenhoek of West Des Moines; Marlene Steenhoek of North Hills, California; and Wayne (Lois) Steenhoek of Newton.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard, her step-sister Kathryn Sampson, a grandson Dennis Bruxvoort, and a great-great granddaughter Nora Faith Bruxvoort.

Visitation will be held immediately after the memorial services with a luncheon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorials directed to World Renew (CRWRC) or Comfort House in Pella.
