IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arvin W.
Lanser
January 31, 1949 – March 27, 2015
Arvin Wayne Lanser was born in New Sharon, Iowa to Arie J. and Johanna (Wielard) Lanser on January 31, 1949. He lived most of his life in the Sully area. He attended Sully Christian through 8th grade and then attended Pella Christian High School. Arvin was married to Ronda Terlouw on July 22, 1970. They were blessed with two children: Dawn and Trisha. For the past twenty years he has been working in the concrete industry, most recently for Skyline Ready Mix. He had a great love of gardening, woodworking, and fishing. Arvin especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was well known as being a hard worker, always lending a helping hand, and loved to laugh. Arvin grew in his relationship with Christ while attending Federated Fellowship Church in Pella. Those who will cherish his memory are his two children: Dawn (Jason) Allbee of Sully and Trisha (Blake) Korns of Pella; grandchildren: Derik, Logan and Jenna Allbee and Olivia and Andrew Korns. He is also survived by his sisters: Ilene Meppelink of Pella and Gladys (Russell) Stravers of Lynnville; his brother Melvin (Wanda) Lanser of Lynnville; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers-in-law, Marvin Vande Voort and Marvin Meppelink. Arvin will be missed by his many friends and family.
