Obituary

Barbara Elaine Snodgrass was born August 7, 1958.  She passed away at Pella Regional Health Center on October 23, 2017.

Barbara spent most of her childhood in Newton and was a 1976 graduate of Grinnell Community Senior High School.  She went on to attend Missouri Methodist School of Nursing.  Most of her life, she worked as a nurse, in  St. Joseph, Missouri, California, and Kansas City.  Barbara married Dennis Snodgrass in 1998, and they made their home in Sully.  Her biggest interest was her grandkids, with other interests of watching the Kansas City Chiefs, attending music concerts, and going to casinos.  Barbara was always caring for others, and always thought of others first.  She was also a volunteer firefighter in Sully.  Barbara was at times ornery and had an adventurous spirit but was limited by her health.
