Bonnie Kerr, the daughter of Ward Dillon and Charlotte (McNulty) Dillon was born in Polk county Iowa August 10, 1923. She passed away September 7, 2009 at Ebenezer Ridges Care Center in Burnsville, Minnesota, at the age of 86.

Bonnie married former husband, George Kerr, in 1943. They returned to Iowa following the war, and then moved to Rochester, Minnesota, in 1952 where Bonnie was active in Eastern Star, the Republican Party of Minnesota, and many civic organizations. Bonnie returned to Pella in 1996 and lived in Pella until 2006 when she moved closer to her son in Minnesota.

Bonnie is survived by son, George Kerr (Julie Coffin-Kerr), daughter, Kimberly Bean, sisters Pat Ver Steeg and Karol (John) McIntyre, brothers Ellsworth "Toy" (Joan) Dillon, Dee (Barbara) Dillon, and grandchildren Christopher Kerr, Kristen Bean, Jonathan Bean, and KatieMae Bean.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ward and Charlotte Dillon, sister Harriet Dillon, brothers Earl Dillon, Macks Dillon, Jacques Dillon, and father of her children George Kerr.
