Obituary

State of Iowa mandates require face masks and social distancing guidelines.

Camden Lee Duinink was born October 22, 2001, to Sarah (Van Dyk) Hileman and Jesse Duinink, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Camden graduated from Pella Community High School in 2020, and worked for Eagle Electric in Pella for one month.

Camden was a member of the Third Reformed Church, and was very active in youth group and mission trips. Camden's first love was baseball. He played in the slow pitch league with his dad and sister this summer. He also enjoyed playing basketball with groups of friends any chance he could. Camden also enjoyed fishing and photography. He got his first camera for his 19th birthday and was also known for his talent with editing, especially editing sports clips.  He loved sports cars and shoes - he had too many pairs of Nikes to count! Camden was especially close to his twin sister Courtney – they had a bond that could never be broken. He had a passion for helping others and seeing more than just the surface. Camden had a very big heart and was a very deep thinker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Sarah (Randy) Hileman of Pella, Jesse Duinink of Pella; his siblings: Courtney, Brayden and Kiaya; and his step-siblings:  Josh (Kailyn), and Lucas (Bethany). Camden is also survived by his maternal grandparents Obie and Jan Van Dyk of Pella and Donna Palmer of Pella, his paternal grandmother Dixie Duinink of Pella, and paternal aunt and uncle Jayme and Stacy Duinink of Pella.

Camden was preceded in death by his twin brothers Marc and Terry Duinink who were born prematurely in July 1999; his uncle Brad Van Dyk, his aunts Brandy Hileman and Gina Simmons,  his grandfather Max Hileman, his grandfather Earl Duinink, and his great grandparents: Jaybe and Ada Steenhoek, Bud and Helene Ver Meer, Gerrit and Nellie Van Dyk, and Leonard and Henrietta Duinink.

The service will be livestreamed on the Third Church YouTube page at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 21.
