Carl Jay Mulder was the youngest of three sons, born February 13, 1961, to Stanley H. and Margaret (Tibboel) Mulder, in Iowa. He grew up and attended school in the Monroe, Iowa area.

Carl started his career as a mechanic for Hewitt’s Service Center in Monroe and was the first machinery hauler for The Underground where he worked for 35 years. In the off-season he would do snow removal. Carl will be remembered as a good man who always helped others. Whenever he had the chance, Carl would ride his Harley Davidson trike all around Iowa.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Brandon Mulder (fiancé Crystal) of Des Moines, stepdaughters Kassie Thompson and Adeana Dickson, brothers Alan (Deb Dennison) Mulder of Knoxville, and Randy (Viney) Mulder of Gowrie, and many nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Stan and Margaret Mulder.
