Carol Jean Craft was born on January 10, 1936, to Nels and Lulu Hutting Jensen in Waterloo, Iowa. She passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House at the age of seventy-six. She received her early education in the Waterloo area, attended Waterloo High School, and received her GED degree.

On November 27, 1970, Carol was united in marriage with Wendell Perry Craft in Papillion, Nebraska. She had four sons: Terrence, Steven Sr., Richard, and Harold.

Her previous residences included Des Moines, Florida, Texas, moving to Harvey, Iowa, in 2008. Carol was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Pella.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband and her four sons and their families.

Preceding her in death: her parents; brothers: Dwayne Jensen, Vernon Jensen, her twin brother Darrel Jansen, and Russell Jansen; sister, Jane Frost; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Ball and Grayson Rohlke.]
