Cynthia Annette Thomas was born May 28, 1961, to Freddie and Alice (Pitcher) Camden, in Franklin, Indiana. She passed away peacefully at her home, August 8, 2019, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cindy grew up in Indiana and was a 1979 graduate of Franklin High School. She went on to attend the University of Evansville where she obtained her bachelor's degree, and later Drake University where she obtained her MBA.

On June 4, 1983, she was united in marriage to Jim Thomas in Nineveh, Indiana. Together they raised two daughters: Sarah and Samantha. Being a mom was her most important job.

Cindy loved spending time with her family, whether it was shopping with her daughters, spoiling her grandchildren, or vacations with the whole family. Her life-long love of animals was evident in her horseback riding and her special bond with her dog, Jaxon. She was a welcoming, selfless person who cherished nothing more than quality time with the people she loved.

Throughout her career, Cindy was a nurse, IT trainer, teacher and most recently worked for Pella Corporation as a Sr. Customs Solutions Specialist for 20 years.

Cindy is survived by her husband Jim of 36 years, her daughters: Sarah and Cory Fees of Urbandale, and their children: Emery, Carter and Kiera; and Samantha Thomas of Pella. She is also survived by her siblings: Terry Camden, Barb Camden, Connie Kalb, Steve Camden, Pam Monson, and Ed Camden; her parents-in-law Sid and Mona Thomas and her siblings-in-law: Jeff Thomas and Sherri Love.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Freddie and Alice Camden and her sister-in-law Rita Robbins.
