Daisy Marcella Winwood was born May 24, 1922, in Hampton, Iowa, to William and Irma (Elphic) Rozevink.  She passed away on July 20, 2018, at The Cottages in Pella, Iowa, at the age of 96.

She graduated from Hampton Community Schools.  On March 7, 1945, she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Winwood, and together they worked the family farm near Alexander, Iowa.  To this union they were blessed with two children, David and Gloria. After retirement they continued to enjoy country living and remained there until moving to Pella in 2009, to be close to their children.

Marcella loved all nature – especially watching the birds that came to her feeders and looking for deer and other wildlife as she and Ken traveled the countryside. She bowled with a league team in Belmond for many years and enjoyed playing cards and snowmobiling in the winter. An excellent cook, she took pleasure in preparing dinners and loved spending time with her family. She made friends easily and always enjoyed conversations with people wherever she happened to be. Marcella was a member of the Alexander United Methodist Church.

Marcella leaves behind to treasure her memory her two children, David  Winwood of Williamsburg and Gloria (Julio) Chiarella of Pella; granddaughters Jennifer (Shawn) Allen and Rachel (Keith) Becker; grandson Greg (Denise) Fink; great-grandchildren Jacob, Hannah and Zoe Allen, and Owen, Reid and Levi Becker; Dylan Fink, Rachel (Robbie) Kromminga; great-great grandchildren Bridget, Alexa, Olivia and Hadley Kromminga; brother Bill (Jerri) Rozevink; special family members Karin Winwood, Maria Carla Chiarella, Julio A. Chiarella, and other cherished family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken and her parents Bill and Irma Rozevink.
