Dale Vos was born July 9, 1931, to Nic A. and Hattie (Swank) Vos, at their home in Tracy, Iowa.
Dale lived in Pella his whole life, he attended Pella Community Schools, and was a member of the Church of the Open Bible. He started dating Bel Ver Meer in 1950, and married her April 16, 1954, one month after he returned from Korea. To this union, three boys were born: Michael Dale, Mark Edwin, and Nick Allen. Dale held a variety of jobs but his favorites were: Pella Hospital maintenance, the Open Bible camp, Holland Plastics, he owned the Gambles Store, was a clerk for Lee's Variety, and he had numerous truck driving jobs.

Dale reunites in heaven with: his wife Bel, his son Nick Vos, his grandson Joseph Ryan Vos, his granddaughter Kaydance Cloe Siedlecki, and his siblings: baby Vos, Nellie Ruby, Gert De Vries, Jacob Vos and Mel Vos.
