Darlene Louise Beyer was born December 29, 1939, to Jacob and Telida (Verros) Monster, in Marion County, Iowa.
Darlene attended North Flagler School through eighth grade and Pella Community High School.
On January 27, 1959, she was united in marriage to Stanley Beyer at the Third Reformed Church in Pella. To this union they were blessed with three children: Rhonda, Daryl, and Lance.

She is also survived by her step-brother and sister-in-law Norm and Dorothy Ver Ploeg and step-sister Karen Ott.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Beyer, her parents, her parents-in-law Lambert and Jeanetta Beyer, her step-father Robert Ver Ploeg, her great grandson James Stanley Archibald, and her sister-in-law Mary Magnant.
It was Darlene's prayer that her family and friends would have Jesus tucked inside their heart.
