David Wayne De Kock was born June 25, 1959, to Abraham and Gertrude (Van Zee) De Kock, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

David grew up in Pella and attended Pella Community Schools. He worked for Boomsma Produce, 43 years at Pella Corporation, and set up Pella Windows displays for Home Depot stores around the country.

David was handy with carpentry and electrical work and would frequently help out family members with projects. He also spent a lot of time fixing up his own property. He enjoyed boating, waterskiing, and staying at all-inclusive resorts. His family will dearly miss his fantastic sense of humor!

David is survived by his wife Deborah Ann Irving and their family:

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

David was preceded in death by his parents Abe and Gertrude De Kock, and a sister Judy in infancy.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
