David Lee Parker was born July 21, 1954, to Arnold and Delores (Butche) Parker, in Knoxville, Iowa. He grew up in Knoxville and attended Northstar Elementary School.

In 1971, he was united in marriage to Peggy Van Baale. David worked as a machinist for Van Gorp manufacturing for 44 years. His family will remember him for his humor, honesty, and quick wit. In his spare time, David enjoyed flintknapping, made many arrowheads, and was well known in the flintknapping community. He liked exploring nature with his family, finding rocks, and mushrooms.

David is survived by his family:

He is also survived by two sisters: Linda and Karen.

David was preceded in death by his father Arnold Parker, his mother Delores Parker, and his brothers, Russell Butche and Joe Vrban.
