Delores Joan Fritz, daughter of Ray and Dolly (King) Criss, was born September 6, 1931 in Springview, Nebraska. She passed away at the Pella Hospice Comfort House on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the age of seventy-five years.

She moved to Pella in 1952 where she worked at the Overall Factory for eleven years. In 1980 she moved to Cedar Rapids and in 1996 she moved back to Pella.

Delores was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Pella. She loved food, music, small children, and animals.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers and sisters: Floyd Criss of Kirksville, Missouri, Herbert Criss of Mabank, Texas, Ella Cornelius of Riverside, California, Viola Kamerick of Pella, Iowa, and Oma Umble and her husband, Glen of Knoxville, Iowa; six step-children; many nieces and nephews; and her many good neighbors and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters: Berniece Pokorney and Phyllis Roberts; and one brother: Merle Criss.
