Dennis William Hausner, 84, of Pella, Iowa, died on October 14, 2025.

Dennis was born on May 8, 1941, to William B and Velma L. Hausner in Kankakee, Illinois. He graduated from Kankakee Senior High School in 1959, received his BS degree from Illinois State Normal University in Normal, Illinois, in 1962, and completed his MS degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana in 1966.

Dennis married Susan J. York in Oak Lawn, Illinois, in 1966, and they celebrated their only child, Sharon, in 1980. He was a computer programmer/systems analyst and retired in 1998.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife and by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon D. Prombo, Pella, Iowa, his brother James G. Hauser of Bloomington, Illinois, and five grandchildren: Jacob, Sophie, Joshua, Clara, and Anastacia.

Dennis was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Pella.
