IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane De
Heus
October 5, 1949 – February 13, 2025
Dianna Lynn DeHeus was born October 5, 1949, to Ralph Edward and Evelyn Marie (Svejda) Olson, in Laurens, Iowa.
Diane's family moved to Pella in 1957, where she graduated in 1968 from
Pella Community High School. In addition to being a homemaker, Diane worked for Central College Food Service and Lincoln School. Diane enjoyed cooking, gardening, and canning fruits and vegetables from her garden. She played cards with several card clubs and was a Red Hat lady. She also loved spending summers at Lake of the Ozarks. She was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. Diane loved spending time with the grandkids swimming in her backyard and down at the lake. She would never pass up the opportunity to take the boys for ice cream in her convertible.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Christopher De Heus and his children Tyler and Blake of Pella, and Dustin (Jody) De Heus and their son Jaden of Cedar Rapids.
She is also survived by her brother Ed Olson and many Red Hat Ladies.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Evelyn Olson, and brothers Randolph, Richard and Daniel Olson.
