Doris Letha McConeghey was born to Roy and Olive (Woody) Marshall, at their home seven miles east of Monroe, January 1, 1919.  She passed away March 20, 2018, at the age of 99, in Pella, Iowa.

Doris graduated from eighth grade at Enterprise Country School.  On March 17, 1945, she married Earl Gray.  Except for the first year, when they lived in Newton, they lived and farmed in the Monroe area, until Earl's passing in 1969.  Doris was employed at Rolscreen Co. for 15 years.

On September 4, 1970, she was married to Paul McConeghey.  He preceded her in death in 2004.  They had retired and moved to Pella in 1983, where she resided at the time of her death.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Donna Richie, her sister Reva McConeghey and her step-children: John and Marcia McConeghey, Jan and Ron Steenhoek, and Mark and Jane McConeghey and their families.  Doris said: "They have been so good to me.  May the Lord bless them for their thoughtfulness."

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Earl Gray and Paul McConeghey, and her sister Evelyn McNoun.
