Dwain Edwin Russell was born January 11, 1962, to Larry and Betty (Wilton) Russell, in St. Albans City, Vermont. He passed away on December 10, 2020, in Des Moines, Iowa.

On May 11, 1985, he was united in marriage to Linda M. Edstrom. To this union they were blessed with two sons: Derek and Dustin.

Dwain attended the University of Minnesota.  He was passionate about being an electrical engineer, and worked for John Deere in Ottumwa, Iowa for nearly ten years. Dwain was loving, caring, compassionate, and enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and socializing. He was a mentor who was always there for his family and friends. Dwain served as the secretary of the Community 1st Credit Union Board of Directors.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda, their sons: Derek (Jill) Russell, and Dustin Russell; grandchildren: Rylan and Haisley; his parents Larry and Betty Russell, his sisters: Sue (Doug) Hogman, Bonnie (Mike) Thompson; his parents-in-law Annette and Terry Edstrom, and his sisters-in-law Kim Edstrom, and Sandy (Andy) Street.

Dwain was preceded in death by his uncle Bob Russell.
