Earl Wayne Vande Krol was born February 22, 1924, to Guert and Della (Veldhuizen) Vande Krol in Lynnville, Iowa. Earl attended school in Lynnville through the 8th grade and lived most of his life in the Lynnville Sully area. He was currently a resident of the St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

Earl was united in marriage with Mary Lois Schmidt on May 23, 1945, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. They were blessed with three children: Phyllis, Wes, and Marilyn.

Throughout his life, Earl was a farmer, milk truck driver, and a courier for Pella Regional Heath Center.

Earl was a member of the Sully Community Church. He loved to read, study the Bible, and taught Sunday School. Earl strongly supported missions at his church. He loved being with his grandchildren and taking them on the milk route with him.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Gladys Vande Krol and Helen Vande Krol.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers: Harold and Marie Vande Krol, Glen and Nola Vande Krol, Roy Vande Krol and Milo Vande Krol, sister Maurine and Cleo Van Der Kamp, and great-granddaughter Angela Hackert.
