Obituary

Esther Pauline Boot was born April 8, 1925, to Anthony G. and Pauline (Ver Ploeg) Klein, in Pella, Iowa.

Esther attended school in Pella and after two years at Pella High School, she started working at Rolscreen (now known as Pella Corp.) until she quit to take care of her mother.

They made their home with Virgil's parents on the family farm five miles south of Sully. After retiring from farming, Esther and Virgil built a house in Pella in 1989.

Esther enjoyed knitting, playing cards and entertaining. She was remembered for being a good cook and especially her cream pies. Esther was a life-long member of First Reformed Church where she made profession of faith. She was active in Ladies Aid, Keenagers, quilting and she served as pastor care elder.
