Lena Frances "Fran" Rigg was born April 29, 1950, to Edward Hershel and Dorothy L. (Bolden) Stevenson in Moberly, Missouri.

Fran attended Moberly schools and beauty college in Columbia, Missouri. On March 10, 1973, she was united in marriage to Thomas "Tom" Rigg in Buckner, Missouri. To this union they were blessed with a daughter Samatha.  They moved to Pella in 1976, and Fran began a 25-year career at Pella Corp.  Fran enjoyed bingo, movies, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Samatha (Stan) Meinders of Pella; grandchildren: Seth Meinders of Pella and Rachael (Mitchell) Meinders of Minneapolis. She is also survived by her brother Hershel (Beverly) Stevenson of Pella, and her sister Virginia (Peter) Twomey of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Fran was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Rigg, and parents Edward "Butch" and Dorothy Stevenson.
