Geraldine "Gerry" M. Den Ouden, 90, of Pella, Iowa, formerly of Edgerton, Minnesota, went to be with her Lord on March 23, 2014.

Geraldine was born September 4, 1923, on a farm near Leota, Minnesota, to John and Johanna Kreuna�"she was one of nine children.

She married Gerald J. Den Ouden and they lived in Edgerton, Minnesota, until moving to Pella, Iowa, in retirement. They had two daughters Debora (Charles) Morris of New York, New York, and Barbara (Edmond) Willis of Pella, Iowa.

Survivors include: her two daughters, grandchildren, Jacob Willis of Altoona, Iowa, Jamie Morris, of New York, New York, Rachel Morris (Matt) Tesch and son David of Oak Park, Illinois and sister, Erma Pool of Storm Lake, Iowa, and her brothers Arnold (Norma) Kreun of Artesia, California, and Darwin (Marlene) Kreun of Edgerton, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Jed, and siblings Esther Van Hulzen, Lawrence (Johanna) Kreun, Nelson (Martha) Kreun, LeRoy (Martha) Kreun, and Margaret (Neal) Beukelman.

Gerry loved to play card games and the grandkids and neighborhood children loved to play with her. She was fun to be with and found great joy in her grandchildren and great-grandsona�"all of whom adored her. She loved, and was loved, and will be greatly missed and remembered always.
