Budding
October 6, 1928 – May 1, 2025
Glenna Joann (Van Engelenhoven) Budding was born October 6, 1928, to John and Dora (Vande Voort) Van Engelenhoven in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She attended Prine School through the 8th grade and later received her G.E.D. diploma from the Marshalltown Community College.
On April 14, 1951, Glenna was united in marriage to Joe A. Budding, Jr. To this union three children were born: Deborah Kay, Doris Joann and David Joe. Following their marriage they lived in the Lynnville-Sully area. Glenna worked for over 25 years at the Best Western Motel in Grinnell and enjoyed the many different people she met there. She enjoyed the state fair and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Lynnville Sully Hawks. She enjoyed eating out with friends, playing cards and traveling to many different parts of the country. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
