Grace Elizabeth Nunnikhoven was born on December 30, 2013, in Pella, Iowa, to Aaron and Michal (Schiebout) Nunnikhoven. She passed away on August 19, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Grace was an easy-going, content little girl who loved to walk and hold hands with her family and friends. She was always carrying her teddy-bear and loved to watch the animals on the farm, usually while playing in the sand. She would blow kisses and was starting to talk in sentences. She didn't mind getting dusty and liked playing in the mud and dust puddles.

Grace will be greatly missed by her parents Aaron and Michal, siblings Micah and Lydia, maternal grandparents Bruce and Marla Schiebout of Pella; paternal grandparents Lyle and Sharon Nunnikhoven of Oskaloosa, Iowa; paternal great grandparents: Dorothy Nunnikhoven of Leighton, and Gerrit and Shirley Van Hal of Pella; maternal great grandfather Robert Monsma of Pella; aunts and uncles: Zechariah and Rachelle Schiebout of Pella, Leah and Anton Heuss of Dallas, Texas, Reuben and Holly Schiebout of Pella, Orpah and Nathan Jensema of North Liberty, Melissa and James Van Donselaar of Oskaloosa, Melinda and Chris Frost of Beacon, Andrew Nunnikhoven of Oskaloosa, Jacob Nunnikhoven of Utica, Minnesota, Samuel Nunnikhoven of Decorah; and many cousins and other relatives.

Grace was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother Angeline Dorothy Monsma, great grandparents Henry and Ethel Schiebout, and paternal great grandfather Wilbur Nunnikhoven.
