Howard Adrian Renaud was born October 10, 1927, to Aaron James and Lena (Ver Steegh) Renaud, in Iowa.

On March 21, 1951, Howard was united in marriage to Alice Ludvicek, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. To this union they were blessed with six children: Alvin Dean, Doris JoAnn, Duane Howard, Allen John, Susann Elaine, and Timothy Paul. Howard farmed in the rural Pella area for many years. He loved children, he was a big tease and found it important to help feed children all over the world. Howard accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and encouraged others to do the same.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife Alice Renaud; his parents; parents-in-law; grandson Jeremy Renaud; sisters: Josephine Renaud, Ruth Renaud, Erma Renaud, Reva McDaniel, and Helen Robert; and his brother Wayne Renaud.
