Iris Mae Plummer was born April 5, 1947, to Cleo and Maurine (Vande Krol) Van Der Kamp, in New Sharon, Iowa. She passed away at the Comfort House in Pella, on December 30, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Iris lived most of her life in the Sully area and was a 1965 graduate of Lynnville Sully High School. On August 23, 1966, she was united in marriage to Gerald Dieleman. To this union two children were born: Curtis and Sherri. Gerald died tragically in an accident in 1972.
Iris married Roger Plummer on November 10, 1984.
Iris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and Roger enjoyed traveling all over and road trips in the convertible. She had many interests, some of those were: card games, puzzles, colored pencil art, embroidery and especially shopping for shoes and purses.
Iris worked for Wes Finch Auto Plaza as a Title Clerk for many years. She retired on December 31, 2013.
Iris was a member of Sully Community Church.

She is also survived by her siblings: Bryce and Shirley (Terpstra) Van Der Kamp of Montezuma, Roger and Jean (Kruseman) Van Der Kamp of Sully, and Euni Scholten of Sully.
Iris was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Dieleman, parents Cleo and Maurine Van Der Kamp, and parents-in-law Harry and Ernestine Dieleman, and Don and Lila Plummer.
