On Sunday, July 24, 2022, Josh Mick passed away at the age of 48.  Josh was born on January 17, 1974, to Fred and Bea (Glover) Mick.   He attended Pella Community Schools, graduating in 1993.  He graduated from Central College in 1997.  He worked for Wells Fargo in the home mortgage department and loved being able to help others pursue their dream of home ownership.  Josh was blessed with two children, Bella and Tyson.

Josh had an insatiable zest for life and was a friend to everyone he met.  He always had a ready smile and loved to help others in any way he could.  A day with Josh was never boring and he was always up for an adventure.   He enjoyed playing frisbee golf and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.  Josh brought laughter and fun into any gathering he attended and was known for his boisterous greetings and bear hugs.

Josh is survived by his children, Bella and Tyson, his parents, Fred and Bea Mick, his brothers Toby (Darlene) and Joe (Leisa) as well as his nieces Lori, Marijka, Metje, Mariel, and Miriam and many, many friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 on Saturday, August 13, at Garden Chapel Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.   Memorials can be made to Crossroads or Wonder Spelen Inclusive Playground.
