Kristin Renee Tighe was born October 21, 1975, to Robert and Martha "Faye" (Roozeboom) Verschuure, in Pella, Iowa.  She passed away at Comfort House on April 30, 2018, with her family by her side.

Kristi grew up in Pella where she attended Pella Christian Grade School and was a 1994 graduate of Pella Christian High School.

Kristi was united in marriage to Michael Sean Tighe on July 11, 1998, at the Pella Historical Gardens.  To this union they were blessed with four children:  Dylan Cole, Peyton Reed, Rylan Cade and Emerson Gray.  Kristi was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom.  She enjoyed decorating their home.  She was very creative and could make old things new, by refinishing antique furniture.  Most of all, Kristi enjoyed spending time with her family, whether is was at the beach collecting sea shells or getting kids to practice or anywhere they needed to go.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Sean, her children: Dylan, Rylan and Emerson; her parents Bob and Faye Verschuure of Pella, her parents-in-law Mike and Karen Tighe of Cedar Rapids, her grandmother Angeline Vanden Berg, and grandmother-in-law Mary Christianson

Kristi was preceded in death by her son Peyton and her grandparents. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
