Lisa Renee Jansen was born August 14, 1967, to Lloyd and Arlene (Beyer) Brand.  She passed away at the Comfort House of Pella on July 3, 2019.

Lisa grew up in the Sully community and graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School with the class of 1985. She then attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines.  Later, through her employment, she met Ron Jansen, and they were married on August 28, 1993, in Pella.  To this union, three children were born:  Garret, Elisabeth, and Joe.  The Jansen family resided in Waukee before moving to Pella.  Lisa was employed earlier by the Sports Page and by Van Maanen Sietstra Meyer and Nikkel.  She was currently employed by Third Reformed Church as the finance and human resource leader. Her favorite job, by far, was the 12 years she spent as a stay-at-home mom. Lisa was involved in various Bible study and small groups at her church.  She served on the Pella Community School Board.

Lisa loved attending her children's many sporting events and enjoyed lots of tailgates.  She enjoyed being in community with her friends and family and could whip up a party for any occasion.  She loved any and all games – board games, card games, yard games.  She loved meeting new people and becoming their friend, always finding new ways to love and bless others.

Those left to cherish her memory are the following: her husband, Ron; her children, Garret Jansen and fiancé Hannah Stewart, Elisabeth Jansen, and Joe Jansen; her parents, Arlene and Lloyd Brand; her siblings, Dale and Tana Brand of Sully, and Gale and Brent Larson of Grinnell; her siblings-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
