Loni Ann May was born to Mark and Lori (Verschuure) May, on August 19, 1985. She was a 2004 graduate of Pella Community High School, and lived in Johnston.

Loni was an intelligent, caring, giving person with an infectious laugh. She adored children and loved spending time with her niece and nephew. She made them scarves and they would often do crafts together. Loni also enjoyed cooking, music, and spending time with her beloved cat.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Mark and Lori, her siblings: Lacy (Andy) Lundgren of Newton, and their children Isaac and Emily, and Ross (Beckie) May of Pella, grandparents: Marilyn May of Pella, and David and Evelyn Verschuure of Leighton. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her boyfriend Jake Giberson of Johnston.

Loni was preceded in death by her grandfather Marvin May.

Loni will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
