LouAnn Schuring was born August 31, 1937, to Forrest and Viola (DeWinter) Butler, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

LouAnn attended Sandridge Country School in her earlier years and graduated high school in Pella with the Class of 1956. She lived with her parents on the farm until she was united in marriage to Art Schuring on June 1, 1956, at the First Baptist Church in Pella.  To this union they were blessed with four children: Carla, Debbie, Dennis and Bob.  LouAnn enjoyed working at Gambles Store, Dutch Buffet, Tulip Lanes and Stravers Hardware. LouAnn was a homemaker who enjoyed watching her children grow up and later having families of their own. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She always loved having them come to "Grandma's."

LouAnn is survived by her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren:

She was preceded in death by her husband Art Schuring, her parents Forrest and Viola Butler, and a sister: Phyllis Butler.
