Lucille Joan Vos was born October 3, 1940, to Everett and Harriet  (Dieleman) Vande Voort, in Newton, Iowa. Lucille passed away July 16,, 2024, at The Cottages in Pella, Iowa.

Lucy attended Jasper County Schools, Sully Christian Schools and graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School. She worked in retail sales for Target for 10 years.

On June 26, 1959, Lucy was united in marriage to Ronald James Vos, and to this union five sons were born: Michael, Murray, James, Joel, and Justin.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Ron Vos, parents   Everett and Harriet Vande Voort, siblings: Louise Vande Voort, Christine Steenhoek, Ronald Vande Voort, and Larry Vande Voort.
