Luetta Carol (Clark) Slagter passed away May 5, 2020, in Pella. Luetta was born October 10, 1933. She was the third child born to (Thomas) Wilson and Carrie (Verros) Clark in Harvey, Iowa.

On June 9, 1954, she was married to Don Slagter in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Luetta was a housekeeper and did some home cleaning. On July 14, 1955, Donna Lou was born and October 5, 1963, Carol Ann.

Luetta is survived by her husband Don and their family:

Luetta is also survived by her brother LeRoy and Carolyn Clark of Oskaloosa; sisters-in-law June Slagter of Pella and Joann Slagter of Oskaloosa, and her brother-in-law Melvin Slagter of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Carrie Clark, her sisters: Della Mae and Pete Van Maanen, Verna and Forrest Sytsma, and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Luetta was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. What a day of rejoicing that will be when we all see Jesus!

There will be a small family graveside service at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 9. All others are welcome to attend and feel free to bring a lawn chair for the service. Please respect the social distancing mandates and keep six feet apart.
