IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maria Cervantes
Ceron
July 20, 1963 – May 17, 2024
Maria Cervantes Ceron was born July 20, 1963, to Carlos Cervantes Cruz and Isaura Ceron de Cervantes in Mexico City, Mexico.
Maria graduated from high school in 1982, and attended college at the Commercial Academy and Linguistic Center. She was united in marriage to Edgardo in Puerto Rico. They were blessed with three children: Brenda, Oscar and Paulina.
Maria was an international inside sales representative for Van Gorp, Inc, in Pella, and retired June 2023, due to a medical condition. She was a very active and happy lady; always helping, and finding ways to make others happy. Maria was a hard worker, tenacious, and caring and that helped her to fight her medical condition.
She loved to take long walks, loved to be outside and feel the sunshine, and be with family and friends. Her faith in our Lord and his coming kept her motivated to continue fighting.
Maria was a member of the Adventist Church of the Seventh Day.
Maria is survived by her husband Edgardo Gordian and their family:
Brenda
Giselle
Oscar
Paulina
She is also survived by her siblings: Guadalupe, Carlos, Arturo, Margarita, and Dulce.
Her family is in peace as she is now resting, waiting for Jesus's return to bring her to our eternal home.
20 The truth is, you will cry and be sad, but the world will be happy. You will be sad, but then yeah your sadness will change to happiness...22 It is the same with you. Now you are sad, but I will see you again, and you will be happy. You will have a joy that no one can take away.
