Marjorie Mae Vos, daughter of Joe and Alpha Den Hartog Van Den Berg, was born on February 11, 1929 near Red Rock/Cordova, Iowa. She passed away at the Pella Regional Health Center on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at the age of seventy-eight years.

Marjorie was baptized and made profession of faith at the Otley Christian Reformed Church. She attended country school until the eighth grade and at the age of fifty received her GED. At the time of her death she was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Pella.

On August 12, 1948, Marjorie was united in marriage with Paul Vos at her parents home near Otley. They were residents in the Galesburg and Monroe area until 1986 when they moved to Pella. Marjorie and Paul enjoyed their travels to various parts of the United States as well as Canada, Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska. Marjorie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and embroidery, making many lovely items for family members. Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Paul; two sons, Arvin and Mark; one daughter, Ruth; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Reverend John Van Den Berg and his wife, Rosie; two sisters: Johanna Vos and her husband Melvin, and Josephine Gosselink; her brother-in-law, Arie Boot; and sister-in-law, Angie Van Den Berg all of Pella.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Byron Lee; three sisters: Junella Van Haaften and her husband, Lester, Wilma De Ronde and her husband, Neal, and Alveretta Boot; one brother, Delos Van Den Berg; and her brother-in-law, Howard Gosselink.

Marjorie will always be remembered as a friend, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
