Mary Ann Moss was born October 11, 1942, to Peter and Jennie (Ten Harmsel) Soodsma, in Hull, Iowa.

Mary graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa. On May 17, 1960, she was united in marriage to Harold Lewis Moss. To this union they were blessed with two children: Mark and Hazel.

Mary was a secretary at Diamond Vogel Paint and Wax for 35 years before retiring in 2009. Her favorite hobbies were embroidery, making puzzles, and playing games. For the most part, she learned to be content with the situation she was in at the time. In 1982, Mary was widowed at age 39, and she moved to Pella in 2016. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City, and a member of Third Reformed Church in Pella.

She is also survived by her siblings: James (Mary) Soodsma of Kansas, Clifford (Joanne) Soodsma of Sioux Center, Iowa, and Rosalie Soodsma of Omaha, Nebraska.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Harold, and her parents Peter and Jennie Soodsma.

Masks will be required for those attending the funeral service at Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City.
