Mary Ann Stiles was born January 1, 1933, to Frank and Gertie (Smit) Temple, in Grundy Center, Iowa. She passed away on December 18, at The Cottages in Pella, Iowa.

Mary Ann graduated from Floyd High School in 1952. She married Dewey C. Bennett in the Howardville Wesleyan Church on June 27, 1953. To this union they were blessed with three children: Daniel, David and Darla. After Dewey passed away she married J. Wally Stiles in Springfield, Kentucky, on November 24, 1984.  She worked as a teacher's aide in Kentucky for 12 years, and for Walmart in Arkansas for a short time. Mary Ann lived in the Charles City, Iowa, area for the majority of her life and was an active member of Howardville Wesleyan Church.

Mary Ann is survived by her son David (Diana) Bennett, daughter Darla (Kenneth) Henely; stepdaughter: Sandy Begely; sister Barbara Jaeger; grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husbands Dewey Bennett, and Wally Stiles, son Daniel Bennett, parents Frank and Gertie Temple, two brothers: William Temple and Larry Temple, sister Francis Wilson, and step-children Bill (Sally) Stiles and Garnett Begely,

Memorial services will be held in Charles City at a later date.
