Michael Edward McCloud, 71, of Pella, Iowa, was born April 10, 1953 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri and passed away January 11, 2025 at Serenity Hospice House in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife Cecilia, children Timothy (Renee), Pete (April), Hannah (Lee), 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his sister Joan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leason and Martha, and brother Timothy.

Michael accepted Christ as his Savior in 1961. Two verses that he clung to were John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." and Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."

Visitation and refreshments with family will be held at Federated Fellowship Church 309 Roosevelt Rd, Pella, IA 50219 on Thursday, January 16, from 3-5pm, with funeral following at 5pm.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
