Michael Phillip Munoz was born May 9, 1970, to Felix and Stella (Wevers) Munoz, in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Mike was a 1988 graduate of Fort Madison High School and attended auto mechanic school in Quincy, Illinois. Mike proudly served in the Army National Guard and completed two tours in Iraq. He worked for Pella Corp. for many years first on the line and later doing maintenance.  Mike enjoyed going to the casino and watching horse racing. He had a contagious smile, and a great sense of humor. Mike was a great dad, grandfather, son and brother who took delight in scaring his grandkids.

Mike is also survived by his parents Felix and Stella Munoz of Newton; his siblings: Dana (James) Munoz Wachira of Texas, Candy (Jeff) Wagenknecht of Davenport, Iowa, Adam (Tiffany) Munoz of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents.
