Pauline made profession of faith at an early age at Second Christian Reformed Church and was currently a member of Covenant Reformed Church in Pella.

Pauline worked at Pella Corp. until she got married to  Marvin Branderhorst on June 24, 1954. To this union they were blessed with four sons:  Jerry Allen, Ronald Dean, Donald Ray, and David Lee.

They moved to a farm near  Newton, and lived there for ten years, then moved to a farm northeast of Pella for 31 years. Pauline drove school bus for Pella Christian Schools for 15 years, and cut lace for Heritage Imports for 13 years. Pauline enjoyed many years volunteering as a correspondent for the Crossroad Bible Institute. In 1995, they moved to Pella to manage Meadow Wood Apartments. Marvin and Pauline retired to a duplex in Pella in November of 2003. Pauline was a resident of Fair Haven at the time of her death.
