Peter Knox Schooler was born August 28, 1972, to Nick V. and Linda (Christenson) Schooler, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Peter was a 1992 graduate of Carlisle High School. Throughout his life, he lived in Indianola, Knoxville, Oskaloosa, and Pella, Iowa. He was a member of Third Church in Pella.

Peter is survived by his mother Linda, his stepfather David Croft, and his siblings:
