Peyton Reed Tighe was born December 26, 2000, to Michael Sean and Kristin (Verschuure) Tighe in Pella, Iowa.

Peyton attended Jefferson Intermediate School and was currently a junior at Pella Community High School. He participated in sports from an early age and played baseball, football, basketball and soccer.  His favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. Peyton was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed vacations on the beach.  Peyton loved to eat;   he always carried food with him.  He was very thoughtful, big-hearted and dedicated.  Friends, family and his faith were important to him and he was a member of Third Reformed Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Sean and Kristi, his siblings: Dylan Cole, Rylan Cade and Emerson Gray Tighe; his maternal grandparents Bob and Faye Verschuure of Pella, and his paternal grandparents Mike and Karen Tighe of Cedar Rapids.

Peyton will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
